The learning environment at Baray Primary School in Karatu, Arusha, Tanzania has been significantly improved following the provision of 25 desks by Big Future Foundation. Before this intervention, approximately 120 pupils aged between 4 and 5 years were attending classes while seated on the floor. This situation affected their comfort, concentration, and overall learning experience during a very critical stage of early childhood development.
Recognizing the urgent need for adequate classroom furniture, Big Future Foundation stepped in to support the school and its young learners. The newly provided desks have transformed the classroom into a more organized, safe, and child-friendly environment. Students can now sit comfortably, participate actively, and focus better on their lessons.
This initiative reflects the Foundation’s strong commitment to improving access to quality education and promoting dignity in learning. By investing in early childhood education, Big Future Foundation continues to build a stronger foundation for the future of every child at Baray Primary School.
